Manappat Foundation The beginning

Manappat Foundation The beginning
Hailing from a family of pioneers in education and social renaissance in Kerala, Mr. Ameer Ahmad, Chairman Manappat Group and Manappat Foundation, realized that the upliftment from the pathetic condition Indian Muslims could only be possible through modern education together with religious education.

Commenced as a corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative of his business house, Manappat Group, Mr. Ahamed's philanthropic overtures have been directed towards the elevation of the marginalized and thus prudently intervening in areas of health care, education, economic empowerment and socio-cultural reforms.

Mr. Ameer Ahamed's home state of Kerala is saturated with social and charity organizations and the requirements of the needy are looked after rapidly, thanks to those organizations and big-hearted personalities.

Being an Alumnus of Aligarh Muslim University Mr. Ameer has been aware of the pathetic circumstances of Muslims in Uttar Pradesh (UP) and it lingered as an agony in his mind. With the staunch determination of ameliorating the predicament of UP Muslims as far as one could, he has had discussions with several entities and individuals at Aligarh Muslim University and elsewhere and pondered over the “modus operandi” to achieve the lofty aim. It was based on these deliberations that the idea of VISION 2040 was conceptualized and drafted by a group of professionals and laid out for action.
