Our Chairman - Mr. Ameer Ahamed
Entrepreneur cum philanthropist; Founder, Manappat Foundation (est. 1993) and Chairman & Group Managing Director, Manappat Group of Companies, with business interests across India, the GCC and the UK. A well-educated professional, he holds an MBA in Business Management from a reputed university, bringing strong academic grounding to his entrepreneurial and institutional leadership. Vice Chairman, Social Advancement Foundation of India (SAFI), which runs the NAAC A++-accredited SAFI Institute of Advanced Study (SIAS) in Kerala. Founder & Chairman, Vision International Academy (VIA), Uttar Pradesh – a pioneering school transforming Madrasa pass-out Huffaz into mainstream education with the motto: “Raw stones polished to shining jewels.” Former Director, Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC) for around ten years over two terms. Former Member of the Court of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) and the first Executive Council Member of AMU from Kerala. Has held leadership positions in several educational and charitable trusts, focusing on quality education, ethical finance and community development.
A motivational speaker and mentor for young entrepreneurs, regularly engaging with students, start-ups and community forums. Expert panel member for a national initiative to identify 40 high-potential Muslim leaders of India under the age of 40. Featured by Delhi-based platform Muslim Mirror as one of the “100 Most Influential Indian Muslims – 2024.”Currently devotes most of his time to philanthropy, educational development and youth leadership initiatives in Kerala, Uttar Pradesh and the GCC.
Mr. Ameer Ahamed is an entrepreneur–turned–philanthropist, Founder of the Manappat Foundation and Chairman & Group Managing Director of the Manappat Group.
